Was anybody really convinced by the end of the Shadow War? Was the entire conflict nothing mroe than spoilt brattish gods wanting the little people to vote for them?

I'm under the impression that J Michael Straczynski rushed the fourth series to end everything a season early. But was the end of the Shadow conflict - as played out - erally what was being planned for in the overall scheme of the plotting?

I just don't buy that it was - he simply seemed to get carried away with himself and then found he couldn't finish everything as required.

So am I the only one who was immensely disappointed with how the Shadow War finished? Or is that just my being cynical again?

Nah, the Shadow War was completely rushed and totally unconvincing... But since the show was due to be cancelled, I guess he had little option about ending it in that way...

If the Shadows and the Vorlons were so advanced, why would they have so easily succumbed to that kind of end??? If I'd been them, I'd have wiped out the whole snotty lot of them, and gone to sleep for 1000 years until someone else was suitable for corruption...

Didn't quite understand why the Shadows went to sleep for 1000 years and the Vorlons carried on with their schemes... Seemed a little strange...

Crusade was a good idea, that just didn't go anywhere...

And the film about the Rangers was interesting, but again, didn't go anywhere... Guess J Michael has decided against anymore... Probably for the best!!!

Ah, but Lorien, The First One was there, as well as all the other First Ones, and by that, showed to both the Vorlons and the Shadows that their time had ended. It's true that it was rushed and there is no-one to blame other than the exec's at Warner Bros for that.

Still, I accepted the ending of the Shadow Wars as the way it should have ended, it was only the speed at which it was finished that was the problem. I think he had planned it that way from the beginning but probably wanted to stretch it out until the end of season four.
