Should voyager continue and not end... give reason for and against

well, neo...

You probably already know how I feel-----would love to see VOY go on & on----new eps every week. I'm sorry Voy is ending...But I hated to see TNG & DS9 end, too! Wth TNG, there were at least a few movies to look forward to, but that doesn't appear to be much of a probability for either DS9 or VOY:( :(

oops, forgot...

Reason for: just because I enjoy it!

Reason against: After a while, writers & actors get bored with a show, and then the quality goes down...

yes, i miss voyager. They should kill of choktay (should have done that a while ago) and get someone new in somehow to take his place. Perhaps while they are at it they could get rid of tuvok, there is not much left that can be pulled from the character - they could both die trying to save each other, that would be a nice irony. Then perhaps janeway goes into depression??? and Tom Paris and B'elana have to take control of the ship. That would be fun :)

Much as I enjoy the show, there comes a point when it's time to close shop.

I think it is best they end the series now.

It is good to end on a high note, and from all reports the climax is the best to any Trek series yet - that's what Ken Biller says, and he's in charge.

It's just a shame it took so long to get up to speed!

IMHO 'Caretaker' was excellent but the first season, with a few exceptions ('Eye of the needle') was poor. The Kazon are the characters that should have been killed off. Just when Seska became interesting, they killed her off! It wasn't until Seven came on board that it really picked up. Season Six was very good, and I think the recent stuff is the best yet. So I am really going to miss it.

However, actors and crew get tired and bored eventually, plus we have a new series to look forward to, and I'm sure they will do a good job, whatever it is actually about.

true, i do miss kess though :)

those hunter people, they are coming back arn't they? they were a cool enemy.. all against federation ideals, great :)

While I have enjoyed the show I think it is time for it to end. It is better for a show to end on a high note that to go downhill as the actors, writers etc. get tired of it.

I only wish they had done more with some of the characters. For Example they should have done more with Kes. Also some of the other characters had potential they never really developed.

YUCK!! I'm normally not fond of any main character being killed off but I have to say i was glad they got rid of Kes. She was soooo annoying!

I don't think Voyager should finish...after DS9, i need my weekly dose of Trek! As for the actors and writers getting bored well maybe they could make radical changes like Padders suggested. (i'm just trying to stay in his good books! LOL!)

Haven't you heard? He's been making the coffee out of Leola root for the past seven years.

Reason enough to kill him there. ;)

They show the new episodes of Voyager here on wednesday nights.

At the end they showed the ad for next week's episode. Stated pretty clearly that Neelix was leaving. Everyone said good bye.

That mean's nothing-- people are always leaving-- then that old reset button gets switched and they decide to stay after all-- 'Meridian' DS9 and 'Resolutions' VGR are two examples that immediately spring to mind.

However, there is an episode comming up in which........

........Neelix discovers a lost colony of Talaxians.

So that may be it.

Pity, I would have preferred a deadly wasting disease, or setting fire to the mess hall, or maybe choking on his own Leola roots.

I would have been satisfied with a boom. The bigger the better.

Out in space of course. Wouldn't want a mess in the ship.

or just looking in the mirror and having a heart atack.

Maybe we oughta start a new thread.
