I got that feeling from fan fic but I didn't know for sure. which ep do we find that out in??

Iffat is my name!!!! i know its weird we had a whole debate about it in my section in the newbie bit!!!

i dont think we actually find out that its jonathon but then again im onluy on the 2nd season!!!i just reead it on a stargate site!

There's an episode in 4th season (Entity) where we see his personel record, and his proper name is really Jonathon. "Jack" is the standard nickname for John, Jonathan, Jonathon, etc.

He was Jonathon "O'Neil" in the movie.

I never tracked that Jack is short for Jonathan, for a midwesterner like myself I'd expect John. I have a cousin named Jack and I never thought that he might have a longer proper name... Okay, I'm clueless...

Well, then you can have fun seeing the roots of the show. I sure run my 1st season DVDs wafer thin. :coolorang Get a good laugh with how young they all look. 'Specially Jack and Danny.
