Which series are you talking about?
If you mean season 6, I'm afraid there wont be one.
MGM are cancelling it after season 5. :crying:
But, there is a sequel to the movie coming up.:hjbigeyes
It could be based on the sg-1 or maybe strait after the original film left off. I'm not sure.

:disturbed Why would they be cancelling one of there best rated shows on Showtime? Stargate Sg-1 gave indication at the end that they were going to continue. They had an awesome cliffhanger at the end of last season(5).

I hope they do have a movie. I would enjoy that but I also want a new season. Well we'll see at the end of the summer I guess.

Don't give up yet, Its not official and I bet that there's another season, as its been said its not official and if you go to www.thesumners.com/stargate/ on the news, the way mazzoli is talking there could be a season 6, 7 and more. The possibility of a second film is almost definate, I know its gonna happen, the main characters have signed up for it. So don't give up yet. I bet there will be another 2 seasons after season 5

most of the cast has only signed up for 5 seasons, and if my calculations are correct, i believe theyre on the 5th now
most of the cast would want to do a 6th season, but some probably wont. as i said, it all depends on whether RDA wants to continue or not

I've just heard from 'Starguide' that a sixth season may be coming after the movie is done.
You'll find this info in the news section. (Well Duh!).
Check it out for yourself and see if im wrong.

Ok now that I have stoped crying I thought that I would put my view on it.
All I can say is I really hope that you are right Arc Angel and that there will be another two seasons as it would be such a shame for them to take it off.
I am trying to not get tooo excited about all the stuff that has been written as I want to wait until one of the big bosses tell us that there will be no more SG!
The way that I look at it if the writters don't know yet that there won't be another season then nobody else can just yet.
In another article Greenburg was saying that he thinks that SG1 could go on for years, so I don't think that anyones knows.
So lets hope that the power that be decide to let us all have another season and lets hope that all the cast want to come back to it.

the only prob is that the actors have only signed for 5 seasons, and theyre filmin the 5th now. if they sign another conract, the minimum no. of years u can sign for is 3 (or sumthing), that'll mean sg-1 would go on til season 8!!! woohoo...but doubt they'll sign another contract though, the might...
