Okay I'm gonna borrow another 'talkstargate' idea....hey they have the best ideas! See if you can answer the question or add one of your own. (You really should do it. The last time i played this game it was on AOL scifi and kept us entertained for months!)

and the moment you've all been waiting for...the question itself....

At what age did Julian find out that he was genetically modified??

Good luck

As I said in your Voyager Forum thread, there is already a quiz in Star Trek General discussions. I think you've been there now, but it's been going since February and at present runs to 20 pages. I did take the idea from Vera's Stargate Quiz though.

Attempt at an Answer

Julian knew that he was clumsy and 'not so bright' when he was a kid. Therfore, I expect he realised that he was different as soon as he had had the illegal genetic engineering resequencing procedure on Adigeon Prime. You asked when he found out that he wasn't 'GM free'. I don't know, the operation was when he was six years old. He's intelligent, he must have put 2 + 2 together. The family knew all about it, keeping the secret within the family, until 2373. Julian certainly held strong feelings towards his father because of it. If an age is quoted somewhere, I can't find it.

Have you seen this DS9 quiz?

I've tried it now!! It's not as colourful as most quizzes LOL!! But i did get 16 right!! (I'm proud of that by the way!!)

Oh yeah we do get an actual age for Julian finding out but I'll wait and see if there are any other takers before I give you the answer. (After that...i'll be normal the use the quiz under general discussions!)

I think it's good to have a quiz in each forum. As I said in the other thread, there just weren't enough people posting about Star Trek before to make it work.

I came here in January and I'm number 1000 or something. Most people just Lurk, or sleep, or something anyway! But there are nearly 4000 members now so it's different.

I've got to go out now, but I'll look into the Julian thing again, later. I don't have that episode on video though.

I give up!!!!!!!!

How about some from me:

1) In 'Hard Time' what is the number on the weapons locker from which O'Brien gets a phaser?

CLUE: think of the first number which comes to mind.

2) What is the power capacity (in Joules) of a standard-issue Cardassian phase disrupter rifle? ('Return to grace')

CLUE: these are not as hard as they might seem.

3) In 'Progress' how many people willingly left the fifth moon of Bajor to leave Mollibok and company alone to defy the Bajoran Government?

I'm All out of CLUES

Ummm I don't know they seemed pretty hard to me! I'll think about them for a while.

Julian was 15. "I'm Julian. I haven't called myself Jules since I was 15 and I found out what you did to me!"

LOL, i like the symmetrical answers!! But you posted just as i was gonna check the old one!!

Okay to try and get this quiz moving, how about we have relatively easy questions so more people might want to take part??

On that note, Who is Garak's father??

Okay if you read this post, hazrd a guess, you'll probably be right. (No Dave that doesn't include you! LOL)

I know who Garak's father is meant to be (although nothing is 100% certain with anything concerning Garak).

I have another question: What are 'Klon peags'?

I'll jump into this quiz!!

Garaks father is Enabrain Tain (well this is pretty strongly said, if not given as actual fact)

as for the Klon Peags...

yeah as far as we know, Tain is Garak's father. have to also agree with your confusion on the Klon Peags.

I thought you liked harder ones-- tell me if you just want the answer, but first some more clues. Quark was offered these extremely useful Klon peags as a wager, but he declined the bid. Think First Season episode and a game called chula.

Tell me the name of the alien race and a description of the things?

it was the Wadi, the first official diplomatic contacts from the Gamma Quad to come to DS9 (extra trivia ;))

still can't think what the klon peags are though, were they part of the game?

Yes, it was the Wadi. The Klon peags were Chopstick-like implements that are highly sought after in their culture and have many uses, so were offered to Quark as a wager. Quark wanted hard cash instead. I'm sorry I asked this question now.

I liked this episode. I know many fans don't. I liked the little girl singing the nursery rhyme, I liked the game idea, and I thought that it was the first time that there was some real conflict in season one. I used to rent the episodes on video, but none were as good as 'Emissary' IMHO, and I almost gave up on DS9, then 'Move along Home 'came up and I got interested again.

oh damn! I remember *now*! LOL

how about something a little easier?

Gul Dukat has seven legitimate children. Give me the name of a son?

(Easy ones get answered too quickly, you love thinking about these for days really!)
