I've just read an article stating that RDA WANTS to do a season six for stargate, and if MGM do it, he's definately signing up for it. He wants us all to send tonnes of letters to MGM stating that we want seaon 6. If they do it and he signs, its most likely the rest of the character will sign.

So hopefully there will be a season six

So, have you guys e-mailed MGM yet. If not, get over there and do it and let's keep Stargate alive. While you're at it, you might want to mention that you'd like to see the SG-1 cast in the movie too. From the interview, it appears that the cast would like to do it, but haven't been asked yet.

ok ppl...we all MUST get e-mailing soon cos i e-mailed MGM about 1 month ago and they STILL havent replied due to the volume of e-mail they get!!

i snail mailed...largely so i could use company letterhead(which is a tv station and nbc affiliate....might pull a little more weight, who knows)

anyway, dropping a physical line can't hurt mainly cause folks can program their puter to flood them with, nothing personal, meaningless e-mails...receiving 100 e-mails from the same person on the same day doesn't count for as much as a hand written note, least that's what i've heard.


anyway, every little bit helps specially since i've heard at one point that season 6 'sorta hinged on rda since he was the star of the show, if he called it quits everyone might call it quits

According to that article, RDA wants YOU! to write/email/call MGM to press the issue:

"I would love to do a sixth season," he said. "In fact, if we were speaking next week we would know for sure. We're waiting for MGM to tell us if we're to continue or not. So write lots of letters. Call MGM! E-mail MGM! Please!"

Yeah, getting RDA to do season 6 is the battle, but getting MGM to agree is the war. E-mails are great, and physical letters are even better. They always assume that every letter they receive equals about 100 people who feel the same way but didn't bother to take the time to write, so if 10 of us write, that will equal 1,000 votes.
