Who portrays Jackson better?

James Spader or Michael Shanks?


My vote goes to James. Excellent actor!

As to your question, I'm gonna have to join Peachy and say I think Michael Shanks portrays Daniel better. And of course I'll have to agree with Peachy again, Michael is very gorgeous, as well a great actor.

Thanks for the support! The only problem with Michael is that he is not the same Daniel I grown to like in the movie. Don't get me wrong he is a talented actor, it's just his character changed too much. From the nerd that was disorganized and lack of humor, and shy to a chick magnet.

What I am trying to say is...

DANIEL JACKSON IS NO LONGER A NERD.

...and being a nerd made him more likable.

As for your question, I have to go with the majority and say Michael Shanks as Daniel. I think he's made the part his own and I also think he's cuter. And for Jack I'm going with RDA. I like the comic relief better.:rolly2:

i liked danny in the film cos his character was the 'nerd' of the team, but in the series he's gotten less nerdy...but as for the actors, i prefer michael shanks cos he's just so much better...

and as for jack, i didnt think kurt russell played a very good jack, but he played the emotional bits very well, in the series Jack has lost the 'emotion' side of him about charlie and has become more fun...so i'd say rick and kurt are about the same for jack, but RDA has the edge over kurt cos of the comical side...

I love both Danny's but MS has gotten me. And the Jacks? Why RDA of course?! I'll just use something his Jack said to explain:
