Well, I suppose if you saw the trailer at the end of last week's epy you know that the upcoming season, beginning the end of June, will be the last season.

(I am too sad to comment further.) :crying:

Not nessecarily Anderson and the rest of the cast wants a 6th season, and are appealing to MGM.

Hey, Texane,

Examine this evidence before you believe any one with an Irish
Blarney name.... See Skydiver's thread "Write a letter, win a prize" in Stargate General Discussions Section MGM and Showtime haen't decided yet if they will renew for a 6th season and our letters will help them decide!

don't forget - even if they announce it's cancelled that's not necessarily the end. another network could pick it up etc so WRITE THOSE LETTERS and get over to http://sos.woolfden.net/ to see how you can help!

I say we petition the SciFi Channel and TNT (the station that is showing the original series, The Witchblade).

Showtime, you've got company! :naughty:

Hey, Texane,

Lets hope the cretins at Showtime and MGM think competition!

well at least there's a 5 season on the way. I seem to get into shows e.g. Highlander, Forever Knight, after they've been cancelled and are onlly re-runs.

I'm off to write my letters and kleenex box, hope I'm not too late.

Forever Knight was an interesting, and well-written twist to the old vamp story.

I got into Forever Knight becasuse they took Highlander off the air. I found that Forever Knight was very similar in the sense that both shows deal with imortality & both have flashbacks into history...strange, Stargate is sort of similar in the sense that we kinda get to go back in time, in the sense of experiencing long extinct cultures on Earth but survivers in the present on different planets...if that makes sense. Oh, I also got into Forever Knight becasue it was filmed in Toronto & I was home sick.

One of my favorite t.v. epys of all time was on Forever Knight. I really didn't see the show much, but one epy had an actress portraying Joan of Arc before she was burned at the stake. Really good.
