I know you are all saying that Sam could get together with Davis or Siler, but i read in 2 different interview with RDA and Mazolli (or however you spell it) that they said that they dontwant to push the Sam/Jack relationship YET becauese they dont know whether there will be a season six? I was just wondering why they would say that if they didnt want it to go anywhere. but thats inly my oppinion!

Sam :D

(Did any one think thatin the next Stargate film, Jack could retire and Sam could do whatever she wanted! The film will have to end sg1, otherwise there could be mor eps. Danny could go on a research team or die again :dead:, Teal'c will go back to Chulak :). where does that leave :D Sam and Jack :D?? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?)

Sounds like they don't want the shipper issue to be put to the forefront, and then have to back off/ignore it if they get a new season. There are very diverse opinions among the fans as to whether this should be a major plot line in the future. It seems to be agreed that it is a good idea to finish this story line at the very end of the series.

Just a thought.

Those are valid points.
Many a show has been ruined by the lead charcters getting together.
I think it's like relationships in general. The "chase" is just as exciting (if not more) than when 2 people actually get together.

I think the Jack/Sam arch deserves to be explored, but not as the main plot line. After all, that's not what Stargate is about... or at least not what it started as.
I think it would be nice for them toget together at the end, but that sound so predictable.

This is very true although I think it would be good to have Sam and Jack together it I it could only work if SG1 was coming to an end.
I think as nic said the chase and the will they won't they thing is more interesting then them being together.
Well they are my views anyway:D

Pam
:p

i personally think, that given rda's remarks, that jack & sam will get together in the end. but it has to be the end so they have to know if they have 22 or 44 eps to do it in...

don't want another season 5 of babylon 5 to kill the show

for those of you that don't know, jms was told season 5 would not happen so he wrapped up pretty much everything, then at the 11th hour tnt stepped in and gave them 22 more eps...and he had to try to unwrap up the plot.
many will say the 5th season of b5 was mostly a waste...

Totally.
I mean, if you were writing it and you knew for certain you had ?? more episodes left, you would be able to slowly develop the relationship.
Unlike movies, which are more "slap bang" in your face in the space of 2hrs or so.
TV characters have so much more development/baggage with them, that movie movie characters don't.

well i read sumwhere RDA said that at the very end of the show sam and jack wud get 2gether. he said they wanted to kool it down till the very end.

Itd be kool if they got 2gether in the last ep or in the movie. they shud completly wrap the show up, no loose ends.
