Ahm, the original Stargate was beamed on Thor's ship in Small victories. So they took the beta gate from Area 51 that's now in the SGC.
The original gate fall in the ocean with Thor's ship and the russians found it...so now they have the original gate. Still two gates...:rolly2:

Really not sure about this, but I thought Hammond told Jack that 5 aliens came through the gate guarding the 5th with the glowing eyes. I only recall two leaving with Apophis, so I'll guess 3 died in the gateroom.
