Mic Cheetham Literary Agency is one of only 7 in the UK that regularly represent science fiction and fantasy writers - effectively, one of the main gateways to traditional print publishing for new sf/f authors.

Anyway, I've been tidying all my papers, and found I'd written up a list (around 2002) of authors represented on the books of Mic Cheetham.

I also tried to research which genre some of the authors appeared to be represented in, to get an idea of what genres were represented.

I thought I'd post it up, in case it's ever of any use or interest to anyone. :)

(Please note that this is simply a guide - I don't stand by any assertions of being correct in detail. :)

John Baker - Detective
Iain Banks (interestingly, he was listed as represented by more than one agency)
JC Grimwood - thriller/futuristic
Mark Behr - Lit
John Binias - Crime
Carol Birch - Lit
NM Browne
Stuart Browne - fiction
Anita Burgh - Romance (historical)
Pat Cardigan
Johnathan Carroll - horror
Mark Dawson - Crime
Barbara Ewing - Lit
Laurie Graham - Lit
M. John Harrison - sci-fi
Helen Horrick - historical fiction
Toby Litt
Ken Macleod - sci-fi
David Marusck
Graham McCann
China Mieville - dark fantasy
Sharon Penman - historical fiction
Anthony Sher

Veronica Stallwood - historical fiction
Tricia Sullivan - sci-fi

Hm...I hadn't actually heard of them. Maybe I should look it up? I know there was another Cheetham around that time running Orbit books, the sff publishing subsidiary of Time Warner Books (effectively, the UK's reprinting of Tor). I'll check that out later. :)
