A fast-paced cyberpunk thriller, HACKERS delivers a humorous and sobering wake-up call to the computer generation of the '90s concerning the enormous power at their fingertips.

Using handles like Zero Cool, Cereal Killer and Acid Burn, a renegade group of elite computer hackers zip through New York City on their rollerblades by day and ride the information highway by night. When one of their laptop invasions makes them the prime suspects in a high-stakes industrial conspiracy, they recruit the best of the cybernet underground to help clear their names.

The film stars Fisher Stevens, Lorraine Bracco and a group of talented newcomers, including Jonny Lee Miller, Angelina Jolie, Renoly Santiago, Jesse Bradford, Matthew Lillard and Laurence Mason.

I saw this film a few years ago, loved it! I did not know that Angelina Jolie starred in this film until a couple of weeks ago. How crazy is that?? Anywho, I think it was well done-for it's time!

I loved this film, have been searching for a copy on vhs or dvd but yet to find one to buy, only rent. I loved the interaction between the two leads, i have only seen it twice, but i love it!

Hey Ice :D i've always wanted one of those keyboards they have in this movie, with all the symbols on and no lettering or anything? They are the coolest, i've had to design my own makeshift one as i cant find them in the shops, but i'm still searching - if they are i will find them eventually!

It is painfully evident that the creators of this film thought they understood contemporary teens and what was hip and cool. It's especially funny watching the characters geek out over technical specs that were obsolete six months after the script was written.

A wet Angelina Jolie is always a treat.
