The sliders travel to a world where academics, not athletes, are the national heroes and Quinn Mallory has achieved superstar status. Arturo is being divorced by the wife who died in his world. Everyone is, however, just as corrupt as on our Earth.
After watching the last three episodes I've realised that it wasn't just the leaving of the characters that resulted in this show going downhill. The writing here is excellent. It's all the little things that make it so good like the "Nikee: Just think It!" advert. I've realised again, why I liked it so much, and can't understand how they could have rubbished it so much at the end.
