Is this the cartoon film with the Joker and Batman's old lover? I think it is but I can't remember...can anyone shed any light on this?

This movie wasn't so hot...

This movie hinged entirely on facts and flashbacks into Bruce Wayne's past, which would have been okay, except that these events exist in the movie only. Therefore, the entire history had to be estabolished before things can unfold. The only thing is, the buildup takes so long that there is very little time left at the end for actual story.

The Phantasm itself was a very big disapointment to me...not because of who it turned out to be, but because there was so much buildup that made the Phantasm seem like some cool supernatural being that would be more than a formidable foe for Batman...instead, we get someone who turned out to be a complete joke...and that brings me to my final point:

The ending twist was simply horrible. Randomly throwing the Joker into the movie at the end made the whatever good aspect of the movie which remained turned into utter crap.

Really? I had heard so many people loving this movie. I'll really have to find it now, just to see what you're talking about.

(Why does the Joker have to be in everything? Jeez! So, he put the man on the track to his alter ego, there are still plenty of nuts out there to feature)

I wouldn't swear to it, since I've never seen it myself; but from everything I've heard, it sounds like it.
