we've managed to secure s6!! WOOHOO! good job gaters!

now lets send loads of thnk u letters and stuff

i know that we wont be gettin a s7 cos RDA is callin it quits after s6:(

but back to the new idea, i think we should get MGM (as they own sg) to put the special features they put on the DVD's onto the vhs version.

i am really angry at the fact that they only put the special features on the dvd's, i mean, what if a REALLY big fan can't buy the DVD version cos he/she doesnt have a dvd player! its not right, just cos some ppl cant afford dvd players doesnt mean that they should miss out

what do u lot think? should we start a petition thing again like we did for s6? it worked last time so it should work this time

I think it's a very valid complaint, but the problem with a petition is that they consider one petition to be equal to one letter, no matter how many names are on it. Better to get everyone to send a really nice letter saying "wow, thanks for season six, we love you, and by-the-way, could you please improve the DVDs and videos by adding this.................". The DVDs in Region one had very few features.

thanking MGM

I think that's the way to go, Shiloh. Petitions *do* tend to be viewed as 'one piece of paper'.

well we could get everyone to do the letter, e-mail phone thing again:D

but im just really annoyed with this, they dont even think about the fans with the vhs:angryfire

VHS

Letting MGM know polietly but firmly that the entire world doesn't have DVD players and you'd like to see thing on tape is a valid concern. MGM produces PAL tapes for the UK, I see no reason they couldn't do NSTC format for here.

It never hurts to send a professionally worded letter stating your concerns.

its called a monopoly.... $$$

yeah, i think email's are a good idea too.....actually gonna go do that. (no i don't have a DVD player!)

ive sent a few e-mails (too lazy to send snail mail) to mgm, and theyve replied to 1 saying that they very sorry about the inconvience caused blah blah blah, and that they will pass the e-mail onto those who produce the dvd's and vhs, and they'll take it onboard. but if u think about it, it could take a few months b4 they even make a decision (the whole s6 thing), and by that time, all the vhs would be out anyway!
