Conventions in Europe

Hi everyone
this is my first post here but I've been a stargate fanatic for quite some time now. I come from Sweden and wonder how many and where conventions are going to be held in Europe, this or next year. Money is always an issue but I am definitelly planning to attend one!
so please give me all the information you can

I understand that there's a Wolf3 planned in Britian, but I don't know much more than that at this time. I'll check around.

Convention in the Netherlands

Hi,

This is my first post...but I thought I'd drop a line...

A convention in Europe other then SG-3 or SG-4 is currently being planned, it's called Chevron Eight and will be held sometime next year, in the Netherlands.
A group of Dutch fans in currently planning everything, and everybody's input and ideas are very welcome! So check out the site at http://www.chevron8.cjb.net and fill out the questionnaire, and/or join the malinglist at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Chevron8_Convention .

Let's hope we can make this con happen and get some guests to the Netherlands!

There is a Wolf SG3 con which is not just 'planned', but is actually happening in November in London this year.

At least one presumes that it's going ahead since I have my ticket and so about 500 other people....

As far as i know, Chevorn 8 is only in the planning stages, and wolf sg-3 is going ahead...i've me tickets got...

That's right, that's what I meant...SG-3 is happening, and Chevron 8 is only in the planning stages.
Whether there is going to be a SG-4 convention in 2002 I don't know.

I hope Chevron 8 is going to happen...as I live in the Netherlands it's a whole lot closer to home :rolly2:

I waited till two months before SG-2 last year, and then the hotel was fully booked and almost all the tickets gone...so I didn't go. This year I went completely nuts: I am going to Gatecon...considerably farther away then London...:crazy:

Hope you all get the chance to go to SG-3 this year! And I'm dreaming about meeting RDA a lot more then about meeting MS...not that I'd mind at all of course

LOL, I just realized to 'look out' for someone may not mean the same in English as it means in Dutch...I meant I'll be trying to find you, not avoid you... Does 'look out for' mean those two things in English as well?

Well Rowan, if they do have an SG4 next year, and you can find the money for the flight, you're welcome to cut your costs and stay at my house. I live about 28 miles away from Heathrow where they hold the conventions and it's easily accessibly via British Rail from my local station in Fleet, Hampshire.

Of course I think that next year the Gatecon and SG4 will be held a little too close together.

But the offer is there and sincerely given, I assure you.
