Where Would You Go, What Would You Do?

OK-Here it is-
You're diggin out your back yard in preparation for your new inground swimming pool. Suddenly you unearth your own Stargate-complete with Dial Home Device. Now the question: Where would you go? Would you go to the Nox world and try to catch one of those flying fang toothed thingys? Would you go to the world in Brief Candle and try to pick up a hottie? Would you keep it to yourself, or give tours?
What would you do? Would you set yourself up as a God to primitive poeples A La Carter's ex-fiance? Would you be benevolent enough to give your time to help primitive peoples with vaccines or crop rotation techniques?
What else would you do, or not do?
I expect there will be some really creative, strange and hilarious responses to this one!
So step through the Chappa'ai with Jaffa-Jim and let's have some fun!!!
 
What would I do?

I'd build MALPs. Lots and lots and lots of MALPs.

Malps are, like cool and stuff. I want one so it can walk my dog for me-better yet, I could take it for walks (the MALP that is)-I'll bet chicks would dig a dude with a MALP.
 
MALPs

Not worried about chicks digging a dude with a MALP [being a chick myself]. I'm more worried that there's only one of me and a bizillion possible gate combonations.

I wanna hedge my bets.:rolleyes:

Congratulations on being a chick-chicks are cool, I dig chicks-girl power, etc, etc, etc. Actually my Major in College was Women's Studies so don't take my remarks as sarcasm.
By the way, if you want to pick up dudes, walking a MALP would definitely do it-guys dig machines-and a MALP is better than a trip to Circuit City to drool over the expensive equipment we plan to buy. Um, also you could use it to make sure the planets you go to are safe-I guess that would be the practical option, being that there's "only one of " you.

Simple! Beat the crap outta few maleavolent people, such as the Goa'uld (even all the "good" ones are dead), the Aschen for variety, Eurondans for their nazistic ways.

Oh, and of course this is all for personal glory. Gotta impress people. Plus, I have to do it for everyone who can't do it for themselves. (this Bud's for ya'll)

Hummm..... well first I'd borrow more than a few of Rowan's Malps to scout out the ideal planet to create my empire.

Then I would proceed according to the plan I set out in my fic Illusions.

In time destroying the Goa'uld for once and for all.

It would take time, but worth the effort.:cool:
 
i would probably end up quickly making a name for myself as the crazy lady at the end of the block as i would be forced to erect a massive shed or something to hide it. and since i am about as handy as a two year old when it comes to construction, it would look quite ridiculous. there would be strange noises coming from my garage and new 'shed' as i try to figure out how to make a passible MALP. either that or attach a minicam to my sister's cat and send him through. now there's an idea! and cheaper, too.
of course i would try to help as many people as i could and i would need to get a few recruits....:rolleyes:

Lets see, where would I go... hmmm... I think I would start with The Tok'ra Homeworld and pick up one of those nifty Armbands, and then gate over and pick up Urgo just for Kicks and Giggles (hey, he makes ME laugh) then on to See Harlan and pick up a couple clones, possible Sg-1 and maybe a, Anise "Just For Scientific Study"
Okay Now that I have all my stuff I would send the Sg-1 clones to fight the Goa'uld and bring me all thier neat stuff. Then I would slap on that old armband and take stroll around Earth and see what kind of fun I could have (of course the Anise Clone would be with me, for Scientific Purposes) Maybe stop by a couple of steak Joints and pick a fight or two, meanwhile I would be cracking myself up w/ the help of my invisible friend Urgo. While I'm at it I would make a stop by Chulak and free some slaves and pick up one of those Stargate Threading vessels. Bring her back to earth and tool around in her...untill the odometer read 80 million, then I would trade her in on a Glider at Jaffa-Jims.
By this time I have had my fun, and the armband has worn off, so i think it is time to make some green, and I would offer tours of Uranus for a small fee.

I'd have to send my MALP's in search of bodacious females throughout the galaxy. And I'd stop by the SGC to give Carter a bouquet of roses. And I'd go find one of those Asgard invisible thinys and a Jaffa Staff Weapon. Then, and only then would I be the coolest guy on my block-hey, come to think of it, I already am! I have a nice apartment, a cool dog, a fast car, etc. But still, i'd be even cooler if I had some alien technology! Oh, and I could go see Teal'c and General Hammond-I could wax thier heads to see which one is shinier-I can say this stuff-I shave my head too. And then I could babble on for a while 'cuz I can't sleep 'cuz I had too much Jaffa Java and cigarettes. Bye Bye.
 
What would I do??? Well get a few malps off Rowan first to scout out where Malakai's technology is (there are a few hours that I would love the opportunity to live over and over and over :evil: )

Then would check out the malp info to get to a planet with a beach and some SUN (its winter here and Daniel is not the only one who loves those hot temps) :cool:

AND THEN...... well I'll think some more when my brain has thawed out.

Where would I go

I understand there are some wonderful ruins on P3C-545. I'll bet I could ask one Dr. Jackson if he'd help me brush up on my excavation technique.....;)
 
I'd gate to all the planets SG-1 haven't been to, because on almost all of them they end up in bad situations, and I'm no soldier. I'd be a peaceful explorer......... *wanders off in fantasy*
 
Planets

No problem for me. I did my 'combat time' with the Army in Desert Storm. Being 'one with the desert' came in quite handy when I went on my dig lst year in Israel. ;)

Now Doing....

Retired both from the Army and health care [civillian and military] on a disabled pension. Currently planning on finishing off a BS in Sociology and going on for a dual Masters in Archaeology and Anthropology - hopefully at University of Nevada, Los Vegas. And then a dual Doctorate: do all of my anthro and as much arch as I can at York University in Toronto, Canada and finish off my arch at Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, Israel.

All plans subject to change and the whims of the world, of course. I'll be almost 60 when I'm finished, but I'd be 60 anyway. My hudband is all for it.

Or he may just hit big at the World Porker Tournament next year and we say 'ta Hell with it' and cruise the SCA circuit for awhile.[ a medieval recreation groups we've been in for over 20 years...]

If I had a Stargate, what would I do....?

I'd definately go exploring the universe! I'd go and try to find the Furlings and the Ancients. And I'd take my family with me, cause they are all into Stargate almost as much as me :)

Especially since they made a Stargate badge for me :)

I now have Level 9 clearance to all facilities and am Special Assistant to Dr. Daniel Jackson.

LOL That is about the funniest thing that I have read all day:D

So if I found a stargate I would pop off to see Harlan and get me a clone of Daniel Jackson;)
Then we would stop by and see Urgo coz he makes me laugh (a lot)
The I think I would like to end up with the Tok'ra as I like them:cool:
