Poll... Remember spoilers as some haven't seen Season 4

It's okay... I don't think we've done this for a bit and it's always interesting to see other people's perspectives.

We just have to take into account that not everyone has had a chance to see even as far as Season 4... some have't had some of Season 3, so use a lot of spoilers in your headers.

I've never been able to pick just *one*. but I can usually find one per season.

S1: "There But For the Grace of God"

S2: "Serpent's Lair"

S3: "Learning Curve"

S4: "Absolute Power"

S5: "Threshold" so far... :blush:

Yeah like Rowan I find it really hard to just pick one episode that I really like so copying her lead I will try to find my fave episode for each season

S1: There but for the grace of god or Singularity (can't make up my mind)

S2: Tok'ra part one and two

S3: Crystal Skull

S4: Not seen all of it yet

S5: Not seen any yet

Spoilers! Erm, sorta, not much

Looks like we are all going to follow Rowan's example.

S1= Fire and Water (drama, wet Danny ), But There for the Grace of God (great AU action, differences)

S2= A Matter of Time (just loved it, re-watchable definatley)

S3= Maternal Instinct (BEAUTIFUL colors and imagery)

S4= Beneath the Surface (great concept), The Light (close-to-home type topic), 2010 (Dunno, just liked it)

S5= Threshold (GOD! Loved memories... "Did he just call me a woman?")

These are just my faves (I'd've left S4 with only 2, but I just had to have all 3 in there) at the moment. They are always changing.

S1 - TBFTGOG and Torment of Tantalus
S2 - Serpent's Song and The Fifth Race
S3 - Jolinar's Memories + TDYK
S4 - Double Jeopardy and WOO

Good not to have to limit myself to just one overall favorite. I have a hard enough time coming up with just one from each season... so I won't.

Season 1 - Fire and Water and TBFTGOG (also loved Hathor, Singularity and The Nox)

Season 2 - In the Line of Duty and Holiday (also loved 1969)

Season 3 - Foothold and Urgo (also loved (Jolinar's Memories/The Devil You Know)

Season 4 - Window of Opportunity and Tangent (also loved Serpent's Venom and Entity)

Season 5 - So far, I liked Enemies better than Threshold, though Threshold was really good.

S2: matter of time, in the line of duty, 1969
S3: seth, demons, urgo
S4: window of opportunity (i wonder why...), divide and conquer, entity
S5: (so far) ascension

SpookyPumpkin, kudos to you for picking both Emancipation and Demons. While not my favorites, these are two much maligned episodes that I seemed to like more than most people.

S1: "Soluitudes" tugs at me from (naturally if you read the rest of my half-ass TV production aspect posts) the TV production angle that they worked in one darn cold studio, or someone spent a hell a lot of time digitally popping frost breath in there post. And they got all bloody, snotty and banged up. One of my favorite AT moments is her reaction to the terrible expance of the snow world. Giving equal time "Cor-ai" with CJ, the extreme control man.
S2: really rocked. It's the nature of shows to have one power season when they're unsure of another year being bought. I can't really pin one cause I missed a few. Every ep had a fantastic idea behind it! "1969", "The Tokra" P1 and P2 (a great romance scene that had me grabbed so bad I forgot to unpause the VCR. grrrr!), of course "Fifth Race"
S3: I missed many of these. And, seemed to have missed the most talked about ones. "Foothold," "Urgo," "New Ground," and "Nemesis." Nemesis was just pure fun to pound my fists after crying that I'd not see the conclusion for months and months. I'll never look at Legos the same way again...
S4: seen only two DIVXs. Not having seen enough I can't have any favorites. I love the funny bits I get in MP3s off sites.
S5: Are you kidding? I don't have cable!

Fav overall I think is Threshold from season five. But to be with the crowd i'll do it this way, too.

you're makin' us choose? okay - i think i have at least 2 faves from each season, save season 5 b/c there have only been 4 eps as of today (ep 5 tonite)

(i'm seeing more a pattern of 3's here now)

SOME SPOILERS

Season one is definitley a tie for Torment of Tantalus, and There but for the Grace of God, I think Catherine is an excellent character, and would like to see more of her, also the history of the gate was fascinating.

Season two is hands down, no competition Matter of Time, some of the most amazing special effects, and an awsome story both in the same package!

Season three I have not seen a whole lot of, but I think it was called Rules of Engagment that I liked alot.

Season four had an excellent episode with Upgrades, but I think the amount of freedom, and expression that was developed in Window of Opportunity made this my favorite episode of the series so far, RDA also had a nice bit of acting at the end when talking about the loss of his son, pretty convincing, and was also a just plain fun one to watch!

Season five - So far everyone likes Threshold, I thought it was okay, but I liked the background information about Teal'c and Bratak in Enemies (I think it was called) But I have to be the oddball here, and vote for the latest episode Red Sky, I know the whole pilgrimesque setting was a bit boring, but when that guy got some of Jack's men killed I thought that was some of the best acting I have seen out of RDA yet! While he is a witty guy I like to see him get pissed off like that, a real leader would have in that situation. I remember watching him darn near knock the guy out, and then drew his Berreta on him, I was thinking go Jack, go! I really like seeing Jack, and Hammond assume thier authority when they need to, they both portray it very well. Hopefully we will see more of this from RDA, he can actually do drama pretty dang well, and I'd like to see more of it!

potential season 5 spoilers!!!!!

at the time of my 1st post - episode 5 of season 5 had not been aired - so i shall now update my choices and say, so far, in season 5 I was very pleased w/ "Red Sky" --- while the background stuff in "Threshold" was good - it wasn't that exciting for me - i love Teal'c and Bra'tac, but that ep was just no "AMoT" (one of my All-Time faves) --- "Enemies" - typical SG-1 season opener - resolve the left-over problem -- pretty basic - not to mention that they apparently cut the Tanith scenes (unless somehow i missed PW - tho i'm pretty sure that's NOT possible); "Ascension" was pretty good -- it was a Sam episode -- and the story was pretty good -- but, if it were a book - it wouldn't be a page-turner -- (please explain to me why she has a state-of-the-art answering machine and a POS car??) "the 5th man" -- don't get me started - by far the WORST ep of SG-1 ever -- (which is saying a lot b/c i haven't felt that way about ANY eps until this one) -- totally annoying storyline, boring concept - depressing -- very much like the ep "Politics" but worse -- at least Kinsey had his reason for being there and stuck to his convictions until SG-1 sneaked away to save the world - including Kinsey's crummy butt --- Simmons - he's just an @$$ ---

So far I thought Ascension was the best ep. We finally got to see Sam's house, although she still doesn't have much of a life. But {sos--Same Old Stuff} Everything wrapped up nice and tidy at the end as usual! :dead:

Well as you know Pam, Carter is my fav character, therefore anything episode that pushes that characters potential or is a "Sam" episode I like.
Still, I really enjoy the action episodes or anything that doesn't finish with a "happy ending" - it's such a refreshing change that a "every thing wraped up in 45minutes" episode, if you know what I mean!
