I thought they still hadn't officially anounced if the 6th series is going ahead... or have they? I get abit confused.

I've heard conflicting reports. One said that an 'unidentified but extremely reliable' source says its a go. The other was a reply to a fan's email to either MGM or Showtime saying that season 6 was still up in the air. Showtime's billing of season 5 as the final season seems to come and go. At this point I guess we just wait and see.

Season 6

The word from the 'set' is:

They have a go for season 6. A deffinate decision has not yet been reached as to wether Showtime is gonna have it or the Sci-Fi Channel. This was my last solid info as of Friday from the set. It's now been 4 days since then. Your Milage May Vary.

that's what i've heard. season 6 is very, very likely just maybe not on showtime. (there was a rumor a few weeks ago about MGM launching thier own cable channel and using stargate on it like paramount does voyager)
but in an rda interview i'd heard that if there was a season 6 season 7 was most likely not going to happen.

if there is indeed a season 6 then the movie is likely moved back a year to the end of season 6


of course this is all rumor, innuendo adn heresay, nothing official from MGM

This is good news..I am really glad that it seems we are getting a sixth season and if we do get a seventh then that would be even better.
But to be honest I would just be really happy if we get a sixth season

i meant that the cast and crew have bin given the green light by mgm, so it'll definitely go ahead, dunno who's gunna buy the new season though

and by the rda thing, i meant that the show CANT go on wivout him, he's the main character and exec producer, mgm wont allow it to go on wivout him
