The Seafort Saga: Book Two

Challenger's Hope

An alien attack and an admiral's betrayal leave a wounded Commander Nicholas Seafort stranded aboard a doomed ship of arrogant colonists and hostile street children. His crew is rebellious, his ship short of weapon, fuel and food - easy prey for the alien predators now massing on attack.

Only Nick Seafort's will stands between his charges and violent death. But is he erely postponing the end?

I like this book. Not as much as Midshipman's though.

I was disapointed that Feintuch seperated Carr and Seaford in the middle of the book. There friendship was great, and something that really worked well.

Also I was suprised that he redeamed Phillip, it certainly was great character development.

The interaction does come back later in the serires though, well I think its in the 5th or 6th book.

Have you read all seven??
