Andromeda may be on a Summer break from work on season two, but the first batch of new scripts are ready and waiting for the cast and crew when they return in September. The next five episode titles are available now.
First up after production returns on season two will be 'Bunker Hill'. This title is probably a reference to the Battle of Bunker Hill which took place in 1775. The battle took place early in the American revolt against the British, and proved to the Americans that Britain was not invincible. Although the British won the battle, nearly 40% of their forces were rendered casualties. It became a symbol of national pride and a rally point of resistance against British rule.
After 'Bunker Hill' finishes production, work will begin on 'In Heaven Now Are Three'. This episode is based upon a story by series creator and executive producer Robert Hewitt Wolfe and his wife Chan Wolfe. The teleplay was written by former Xena: Warrior Princess writer Emily Skopov, who makes her Andromeda debut with season two's 'Pitiless as the Sun'.
The next episode to enter production will be 'Lava and Rockets'. This episode was written by the writing duo of Zack Stentz and Ashley Edward Miller.
The episode 'Ouroboros', scripted by Wolfe is next up.'Ouroboros' is the name for the mythological Great World Serpent, encircling the earth. The Ouroboros is usually represented as a serpent with its tail in its mouth, and represents the conflict of life as well; in that life comes out of life and death. It is found in a variety of cultures around the globe, and has had both positive and negative connotations.
The final new title is 'Be all my Sins Remembered' by Ehtlie Ann Vare.'Be All My Sins Remembered' is the last line of the famous 'To be or Not to Be' soliloquy from Shakespeare's 'Hamlet,' in Act III, Scene I. The story tells the tragic tale of the prince of Denmark.
