Stargate Nominated for TWO Emmys!

Two episodes of Stargate have been nominated for the Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series award in the 53rd Primetime Emmy's. Season 4 opener "Small Victories" and finale "Exodus" are both up for the award, fighting against episodes of Voyager and Dark Angel.

The awards ceremony, showing live on CBS on Sept 16th, can be viewed from the Official Emmy Website.

Star Trek will blow Stargate out of the water!

Stargate is great and all but HAVE YOU EVER SEEN STAR TREK'S SPECIAL EFFECTS?!?! MGM doesn't spend THAT much money on GOOD CGI on Stargate. It would cost them millions. (That's what happen on Star Trek: The Next Generation, their Special Effects were costing them 2 million dollars per episode, besides that the actors wanted more money, so paramount called it quits and TNG ended)...but anything is possible at the emmys!
