Loran

Hello!
I don't quite get this, but as the cliche goes 'Observe and learn'. So I'll just observe other threads and learn. But that's not the point.
whatever happened to Loran? I know that at the end of the Light Jack said he could go back with them but that's all. I know what happened to Nyan. He was made Daniel's assistant. So what happened to Loran?
Can anybody tell me things about him. (he was played by Kristian Ayre). I would love to know,

He has entered the blackhole of stargate sg-1 as many others have done before him and never heard from again. Who knows.
We haven't seen him since and i don't think we will again unless some fan writes him into a fic.

Bit rough Sandman - he was only in 4.18, and the series ends at 4.22, so little real chance to have re-appeared. Could be set to make a come-back in Series 5 of course...
