"Stargate SG-1" fans who subscribe to Showtime in the United States are in for a big treat next month! The cable network revealed today on the broadcast schedule at their official SG-1 Web site that Showtime will celebrate the show's 100th episode with a 7-hour marathon -- the show's first ever.
"Desperate Measures," the show's 99th episode, is slated to air Friday, September 7 at its normal time. The special 100th episode -- "Wormhole X-treme" -- will air on Saturday, September 8, following a marathon of the first six episodes of Season Five (including "Enemies," "Threshold," "Ascension," "The Fifth Man," "Red Sky," and "Rite of Passage").
This schedule is, of course, subject to change.
"Wormhole X-treme" pokes fun at the series, as the team discovers that an old friend has created a television show that bears a strong resemblance to the real Stargate program.
