when i went on line to tvguide.com it showed in addition to this weeks fri nite at 10 show the tomb. it showed a sat nite 8 pm listing on showtime for 2001.

Sat 18 8:00 PM Stargate SG-1: 2001 78 SHO

i live in the eastern us. anyone get this listing besides me?

last i heard it was going to be a double dip of the tomb...guess i'll have to check it out

i found this listing online at
www.tvguide.com

i found the listings by searching under actor richard dean anderson. found the sg1 stuff plus some old movies.
try it that way sky and see what you get. your central us right?

Showtime Schedule

Wow- now I'm really confused with the schedule.
Here's the way I understand it according to:

http://showtimeonline.com
(click schedule and use the calendar - I didn't use a search button. Make sure it applies to your time zone)

The Tomb twice: this Friday at 10PM and then the very next day repeated at 8PM (8/17 and 8/18 respectively)

And as far as the marathon which is much more extensive than I had previously gathered:

All the episodes shown up to 9/8/01 from Enemies to 2001* (10 total) all in a row from 12:30PM to 8PM followed immediately by first showing of Wormhole X-treme (8PM).

*Looks like that's excepting Desperate Measures?

Whew! Those guys have been busy.

Now if I'm wrong please correct me and no telling about last minute changes.

Date of Marathon, please!

When is this heavenly SG1 marathon going to take place? Please do tell. I have to be sure to monopolize the tv all day.

Marathon

Marathon will be on Saturday, September 8th, 2001.
Sorry forgot to make that clear.(My chance to re-tape The Fifth Man without the red Showtime banners across Daniel's chin).

And now that we know Sg1 will move to scifi channel for its sixth season, it all makes perfect sense that Showtime is altering its usual handling of Sg1 and having this special marathon.

why, ya'd think they would care less about exposer of the show or doing anything nice for stargate at this point:(

Yes. Guess Showtime's got nothing to lose now. I wish they'd done a marathon from the start.

Sigh: No Beast of Burden? The only one I am missing. Well, thank God Tatter is going to send me a copy. Pretty please, Tatter......

Burdened Beast Eppy

Yes "Beast of Burden" is in there in the marathon line-up. It should be on at 5PM, 7th in line.

i'd originally understood that desperate measures (which airs on the 7th) was also going to be part of the marathon...and it wouldn't be the first time someone messed up eps titles or the tv guide was wrong.

as to doing the marathon, from what i understand showtime did the same when outer limits hit their 100th eps...

i for one have to be out all day so i'm praying that the two vcr's i'm gonna set work or i'm gonna be one very, very unhappy camper

the showtime schedule says the tomb on the 18th, and i'd believe them over tv guide anyday...tv guide gets their info weeks in advance and it's far more likely that showtime knows what they're airing better than tv guide

course it can't hurt to tape em both, just in case ;)

100th eppy

Ah, so that is the honor so bestowed on SG1 by Showtime, a hundredth episode celebration. Farewell party as well?

Let's bake a cake with the gate on it and dial up the address to the scifi channel. <g>

Black Holes

lol

Showtime into a black hole? Where "gravity is so strong even light cannot escape"?

Wonder what that'll do to their ratings.

I know it's leaving my channel selection line-up as soon as SG1 does.

Long live Stargate Sg1!
