Michael Shanks for Oz convention

I know this is Australian news (and I've posted there too) but I just have share my excitement

Michael Shanks is the latest guest to be confirmed for the BOBW stargate convention in Sydney on 20 - 21 October !!!!!!!!!!!

What a coup!!! Michael is like rda and doesn't usually attend cons.

This is the best news since the return of stargate to channel 7 after a very very long drought in Australia (and unfortunately the drought continues in some parts of the country).


....... now only if rda was coming *sigh*..............

Michael has been to at least 1 or 2 conventions. RDA hasn't been to any, unfortunately.

BOBW is an acronym for Best of Both Worlds, a company that holds science fiction conventions in Sydney.

We also had a stargate convention in February this year when Peter Williams, Teryl Rothery and Don Davis came out.

At the one in October, with Michael Shanks, we'll also have Alexis Cruz, Tony Amendola and Colin Cunningham.

The one after Stargate is for Buffy and Giles is coming out for that one.

They also do Star Trek, Babylon 5 etc etc.
