OT: Avatars

Hey to all da peeps who's having trouble changing their avatar...

I don't think that it matters how many posts you have really.

But anyway...
If you tried to change it and didn't work...
Are you POSITIVE this is what you did??

1. Went to Control Panels.
2. Edit Options
3. Then scroll down and click on "Change Avatar"??
4. Scroll down and clicked on uploadin an avatarby clickin browse??

If you did all these things, then it should work.

See, you're not supposed to be able to choose a custom avatar unless you either have 500 posts or are a subscriber. I'm a subscriber, and Padders said he'd try to figure out how to enable us to choose custom avatars, but nobody's is working yet. I've tried to choose "change avatar" from both the pull down menu above as well as the control panel, but every time, I get the "not enough posts" message. I try it at least a couple of times every time I log on, just in case

But my pic is too big.
They have a limit of 50x50pix.
Whatever that means...

No, it's supposed to be 50 posts for an avatar from the choices screen, but 500 for a custom one. Padders said on another thread that he was trying to change the codes for subscribers to have custom avatars without 500 posts, but was having problems with it....

I wonder if the codes for the non subcribers got changed instead?
