Season Five Speculation

ok guys...now that season 4 is over(and all...ok most of us have seen it) anyone wanna speculate on how our heroes are gonna get outta the mess they're in?

big honkin exodus spoilers so proceed at your own risk!!!



let's see...thor could get them home, they could run across the furlings or ancients who send them home, how about a big, fat stable wormhole that they can drive their ship through<G>, or they could build a power booster and gate home, the hatak should have a gate since the one they sent to the sun was the one from vorash,

to me no bet that they're gonna try and rescue teal'c...the question is will danny get to face down a-man?
will tanith survive? i hope so cause he's SO bad!

what are your ideas?

i dont think danny will get to face down a-man... yet...i think they're gonna carry that one through a bit longer..

as for tanith... i doubt he'll stick around much... this is the first time that they really pulled lots of ep's together.. i doub they'll keep doing that... they might just wanna get rid of him and be done with it... teal'c deserves that, at least...
(though he did get cronus last week...hmm....maybe they COULD pull it out a bit longer???)..

as for getting home...this would be a great time to introduce the furlings... i think having a stargate on the ship would be to easy, aside from which then jacob wouldnt have been quite as upset when talking about them being so lost... of course, they would still have to figure out a point of origin... its a whole different galaxy, and a whole different ballgame..

i think it would be nice to see them get home the same way they got there. in the last scene, it looks like they're most likely captured, so maybe they could sabotage a-man's ship to make it crash into a nearby star while the gate on the ship is dialed to the blackhole(surely apophis's huge insane ship has a gate and a good power source). once it's set (and teal'c does his revenge thing on tanith) they could get back on their ship, and ride the shockwave back to earth.

Things I would like to see:

1) Osirus' host Sarah come back.
2) Big Goa'uld civil war battles.
3) The Ancients/Furlings/Creators.
4) More of the Asgard.
5) More of the Nox, especially Armin Shimmerman.
6) Daniel finish off Apophis for good.
7) Some new evil baddies.
8) Kill off the Replicators- I don't like them.
9) President Kinsey.
10) Much, much more of Harry Maybourne.

i've heard that osiris will be back, with or without sarah i don't know, also that one of the older races will show up...i think danny will eventually get apophis...but it's gonna be in the series finale...a-man has been around since the beginning and like q in tng...just can't get rid of him until the ending...arch nemeis' are like that.

the first 3 eps of season 5 are
enemies
threshold
red sky

enemies will be a team eps and will basically be what we think...sg-1 vs apophis...with a little tanith thrown in for good measure...but don't expect a pretty ending cause it's gonna lead directly into threshold...

threshold will also deal with the threat of exposure of the sgc from an unlikely source...

red sky will have the asgard...thor we're not sure of...

I too think that this trip out of our galaxy will catch the attention of the Ancients and/or the Firlings, it's would be a great way to introduce one or both of the races. I also think that they will allow Teal'c to deal with Tanith, as Peter Wingfield is a main character on another show Queen of Swords.

had a silly plot bunny hatch...now we're supposed to see more of sam's life and cassandra is going to show up...what if...and this is a big what if...what if something happens with/to cassandra and sam gets involved...and pushes the rules to make thinks all work out...or what if sam finally has enough, tells the general where to go and leaves...maybe the ancients or furlings are going to be ticked off at her for blowing up a star? big honkin supernova that just might effect more than vorash's system...

just a random thought...i know they've already started filming season 5 but i can't wait until june....

and another silly thought...red sky at morning sailors take warning, red sky at night, sailor's delight...old wives tale about impending storms....

or they could simply run across another planet with a uv shield like on p3x513(1st commandment) which is red...

In episode "show and tell", Jacob Carter said that the Retou Rebels would again try and get to Earth to wipe them out. I wonder if they will show up(no pun intended) in season 5. I for one would like to see us battle the Retou again.

This was inevitable really - the Goa'uld are getting predictably beatable - their technology is not really that far advanced now we have beaten them a few times, and the few others who have been and gone, have... gone!

So - I believe it was bound to be something to look forward to: a real challenge - lets face it: the galaxy is big enough, and SGC have only been paddling round the edges for a year or two. Something, or someone, was bound to get interested.
