a french fan has arrived

Hi buffymaniacs!!

I'm a huge french buffy fan!
Buffy is my favorite TV show. I completely loose it when I watch an episode, and I spend my time on internet looking for transcripts, pics, videos and everything that has the word "buffy" in it.
I'd like to share some thoughts about the show!!
I'm hoping some answers of crazy fans like me!!

Please be kind with my english, I do my best!!

I wasn't expecting so much!!!

well, in fact, you must thanks buffy for my english!! I watch the episodes in english and I repeat all the slang all of the day to my friends (they sometimes ask me where I'm from coz they don't get me and of course I answer, "I'm from Sunnydale, duh!!!!").

you can see now how obsessed I am!!!
And now that there's ANGEL in France too (the first season only), it's worst!!!! my friends think I must have been bite!!! (if only it could be by Angel, I would have let him do!!!).

Welcome, FS, hope you enjoy your time here. As you can already tell, it's a real friendly bunch.

I hope you'll forgive me for putting in a plug for my own Buffy Episode Guides and Trivia Quizzes at www.obcooke.com. I try to summarize the action and capture the mood of each scene without reproducing the dialogue, kind of a novelization. I also have a few pictures there.

If it's a transcript you're looking for, might I recommend Psyche: Buffy Transcripts. I'm not connected with that site in any way, but they do a good transcript. I use it to check for verbatim dialogue.

lots of posts, great welcoming of newbies (I don't know if that's a sentence!!!), many crazy fans like me!! sounds like home!

and, by the way, I confirm my knowledge of this show!!! (sorry that was my french ego talking!!!).
of course I don't know everything (and I'm sure many of you must know way much more than me!!) but even if I haven't see the end of season 5 yet, I know already what is going to happen and I'm a "spoiler gal", so I must admit... I know some stuff (my ego is back again!!!).:evil:

when do you get to see the end of season 5 then? Knowing what happens and actually seeing it are not the same thing you know!

Definitely not, how ever great what you've heard is, multiply that by about 6 million and you have the season 5 finale.

I know that knowing already the end of the season without having seen it may spoil the fun and the show itself, but even if I knew pretty early in the year the death of buffy, it's always a great moment when I see buffy. I know some of the quotes (by reading some of the transcripts), but hearing them and watching an episode is different. specially when english isn't your native language (I don't understand some of the quotes when I read them, but I get them when I see the subtext in french - even if sometimes they're not quite good!!).

and I repeat myself again, I'm a crazy fan!!! I read the summaries of the actual us season a couples of days after it's aired ; then I read the transcript of the episodes a couple of week after ; I watch the actual season in english from march and I watch them again in french from september. Oh... I almost forgot... I look for all the spoilers I can find!!

I know... I'm sick... I need help!!!
