The excitement is surely building... My whole Gatecon thing starts in 3 days when I fly out.

It's still a couple of weeks away, but the butterflies have already set in:dead: :dead: ... I'm sooooo excited about it all.:blush:

And really looking forward to meeting everyon.

I'm actually out of here at 6am on monday morning... ready for the plane to leave at 7am for Sydney, then departing our fair shores at around 10am.

Beleive it or not i'm flat out at the moment.... My boss has about a months worth of work for me to do before I finnish work tomorrow night PHEW !!!!!

I just take my quiet moments (Yeah Right !!!)... Who's kidding who here... I just say screw it... I'm going to read my messages... who cares what the boss thinks

But at least I give the impression i'm working.... I just do what Scotty from Star Trek does... Always multiplies his time frames by 4, (so I take twice as long to do it, and my boss thinks i've done it in half the time) :flash::flash::flash:

vist the gatecon webpage for other activities...other than that, those staying longer will be doing tours and trips....welcome to join...nada definate as of yet, but sure, if you're around...let us know....we're glad of the company.

I'm up on the morning of the 17th. I'm still not sure what hotel I'm working out of. If I did the Gatecon site form should I know by Tuesday? Never thought to tell the guys to put my nickname on the nametag...

The Gategoers Yahoo email list has been a great resource for what's going on around outside the con activities. We've been talking many pub parties, paintball, indoor sport climbing, trips to craft stores and maybe some sort of boating trips. I know I'd love to kyack if the weather isn't too darn awful for this wimpy southern state-sider. The tough part is getting everyone's schedule together.
