Which Species do you NOT want to revisit in ENT?

I hope there's no Q tie-in awaiting Enterprise -- and no Borg, either!

Please NO!

They wouldn't do that.

I've been suprised at how many aliens they have been able to dig up while pottering about in Earth's backyard: Klingons, Vulcans, Andorians, Tellerites. Then there are the new species I've forgotten the name of.

At this point the Romulans are not meant to have Warp Drive. So we are not likely to meet them until the Romulan Wars begin (Some time around Season 4 :D :D :D :D )
But how they don't have warp drive and the Vulcans do escapes me.

As for your question: well the Tellerites actually, I've said before, men in pig masks don't make good sci-fi.

Neo i read the title and thought exactly what you said, no Q and no borg.

In fact i wonder how they are going to introduce original things into this series going backwards has got to be hard for a techono type program ... i just hope they keep it sci-fi and don't turn it into an action thing ... we shall see.

Ditto PAdders... i do hope its stays sci fi and not all adventure ie.. a team ish....

lol....well u said it.... lol

perhaps series 5 will be better but i hope this new star trek is more farscape like than stargate like. perhaps the more current time line will give people more interest in space and space exploration something that would be nice.

i would have to agree with above sentiments, no tellerites!! Hopefully the species that had to be carried in a box and looked at thru goggles to avoid going crazy wont be showing up too much either (medusans??)

Unfortunately, I heard that there will be. But maybe the makeup will be better.

As for the action vs. SF. I first thought that this retro-trek idea was ****, but I've come around to it slowly.

I think it will be exciting and unusual, but still I don't know how they will introduce anything original -- be it aliens, tech or ships. They are making a big play on how the evolution of the technology will be interesting. (Transporters that don't work very well and such). That is only interesting for a while.

The Klingon First contact, the Romulan Wars, the formation of the UFP, fleshing out alien races like the Andorians -- I want to see all that, but it is a very small bag to pull much else out of it.

Re: action vs scifi

don't know if it's true, but i have heard this series will spend a lot of time exploring personal relationships.

'Eastenders' in space?

RE: Eastenders in Space.

OH NO!

You mean that the bar in ten forward will get blown up once a season, and that everyone will eventually end up being related to everyone else, and they will spend most of their lives washing their laundry?

WEll i for one will be turning off

Add Nausicaans to the species of aliens in 'Enterprise'. Nausicaans were the thugs who attacked Picard and pierced his heart with a knife ('Samaritan Snare' TNG and 'Tapestry' TNG.) In 'Fight or Flight' ENT Dr Phlox mentions them over lunch with Tucker.

They were a interesting species.... lok forward to reading more about them

There are plenty of minor races that were only seen in TOS, or in TNG, in one episode or two, and never again. I would much rather they made a reappearance, as they were Alpha Quadrant species, than they make up something new with a bump on a different side of it's head.

well lets hope we do see more of these minor species

I agree with the seeing more minor species. As for the question, I didn't want them to revisit Klingons in Ent and I still don't. Or any aliens that the federation don't know about yet, that would be poor and unimaginative writing. But I do want to see more about the Vulcans, not ones like in Broken Bow though (they just didn't seem right to me.)

i want to see more of the suliban,, they intrigue me..
