I got this book the other day, called :
STARGATE SG-1
The illustrated companion
Seasons one and two.
it's a gr8 book; if you see it, buy it. It's by thomasina gibson, and it was published by a publisher in London, so it may only be availiable in the UK.
I got the first edition, too!!!!
it's got a lot of cast and crew interviews in, and good pics.
here are a few facts that i found interesting:
--rick is color blind
--peter williams fancies amanda tapping
--in there but for the grace of god, when sam and jack say goodbye, it was scripted as a kiss, not a hug. when they got there, they just hugged, and amanda says she would have preferred to have kissed him
--don davies has a PhD in theatrical studies
--chris judge is a pain in the arse to work with, always turns up late, short attention span, etc
--michael shanks and chris judge have a frequent exchange of practical jokes, and forever wind each other up in quiet scenes
i'd give you more, but it'd take too long!
oh, and there was this pic in there, with the director waving his arms around, Rick was nodding at him (or admiring his shoes --- not sure which) and Amanda was in the backgroung, looking extremely tired/bored/pissed off.
BUY THAT BOOK!!!!
