It has been a while since I have posted this question. Does anyone know any of the SG Team designations? I am looking to have a complete list so I can create my fictional Team.

Does anyone have any corrections or additions?

SG-2 Exploration
SG-3 Marine Combat Unit
SG-4 Exploration
SG-5 Marine Combat Unit
SG-6
SG-7 Scientific Corp.
SG-8 Medical Team
SG-9 Diplomatic Corp.
SG-10
SG-11 Engineering Corp.
SG-12
SG-13
SG-14
SG-15
SG-16

SG-12 appears to be fairly plain Marines, staying with the second Tok'ra chap to guard the gate ("watch our six"), whilst Jacob and SG-1/SG-3 go looking for those naughty relations of mine...

No - SG-9 are definitely the diplomatic team, led by Major Kovacek, appearing as long ago as Prisoners (series 2).
 
I know that more teams get added on as the series progresses, but how many SG teams are there by season 5?
