To anyone who lives in the United States and Canada and is going to Gate Con. Can you ask for me when MGM is going to release more Stargate SG-1 seasons in box sets on DVD in the United States and Canada(which is Region 1)? When you find out please post it. Thank you!!

Glad to help

I'll see what I can do, Tok'ra. That is unless someone already knows the answer and posts before I do.

It's amazing what you can find out in this forum before reading it in the mags!

It was said by a few people that the second season in region 1 was a possible release this fall. I'm betting more like November. Just in time for the holidays, you know?

Was gonna ask anyway! Just hope someone there can give me an actual answer on it.

My office (art dept.) is just down the hall from our publicist's office at SG-1. I'll be sure and ask tomorrow (Friday) and will post here tomorrow evening. BTW: MGM just threw a HUGE party for us in celebration of our 100th episode, and included in our gift bags was a very limited edition DVD of that show.

Spoke to publicity today, Season one is available now, release of seasons two and three is imminent. Hope everybody can see "WORMHOLE EXTREME" tonight on Shotime, it was our 100th episode. Watch the background action, many of the extras our actually SG-1 staffers.
See you all at Gatecon. Jaffa-Kree.
PS. we are almost wrapped for this year; I was just recruited to work on the pilot/movie of Battlestar Gallactica...VERY EXCITED!!!

Well, the region2 DVD series 2 (done in 4-eps per disk) have at least two changes: Bane is moved before the Tokra double-bill, to provide a between-disks cliff-hanger, and for some reason Show and Tell is moved before 1969.

PS - On a different thread I asked people at GateCon to ask about region 2, series 1 DVDs being made available...

PPS - GOOD LUCK WITH GATECON TO ALL ORGANISERS
