Can someone explain "Twice Blessed Man"?

I watched the show all the time when it started out, then stopped for a while, and have been back as a regular fan for the last two seasons. One thing that has bugged me the entire time is the way Cade is refered to as the "Twice Blessed Man". Is there any relivence to this title in Cade's actual characterization? What is he blessed twice with?
 
the theory goes something like this. Cade was first blessed with regular life and loving his wife, Hannah. He got his second blessing when he survived the Gua experiment to take away his will.

Also you could see another version for it at the end of the "Twice Bless'd" episode. A new one in Cade's words.:p
