Yeah, ebay is always good for that sort of stuff, though the prices on autographs can get quite high.

Where are you from Tryda?
If money is no expense, MS is attending the Wolf4 convention this Feb. - You can get an autograph off him there!

I have tried writing to both Michael Shanks and RDA at the address jsc provided, but I never received an answer. At least I am at SG-4 as well, so I can get Michael's autograph. I guess all you can do regarding RDA is praying if you try snail mail.

Just thought I'd let you know I got a personalised, hand-signed autograph from Amanda Tapping the other week. (Took about 4 months!)

I know it's not a JR Bourne or MS autograph, but it does prove the stars so get back to their fans

Yes, I agree. At least some of them do. I received a personalised autograph by Teryl Rothery some time ago, also one of Jay Acovone. I nearly flipped over that, he is a long-time favorite of mine. Also I just recently got autographs of Colin Cunningham, Erick Avari and Alexis Cruz after writing to them.

So it does work, it just depends to who you write. And not everybody will prefer MS to Amanda or maybe Jay - luckily, or the board would be very boring.

Still, nothing tops your day than waking in the morning, coming down stairs, and seeing a big envelope from MGM, Stargate lying on your door mat!

I am collecting autographs from other sci-fi shows as well, but nothing worked as well as it did with Stargate. With 4 exceptions I got the whole regular cast and the guest stars that I liked. And at least the MS problem will be solved after SG-4. :nuts:

The MGM address didn't work with me so far. I tried using the Vancouver address that's posted here as well, that's were Teryl's autograph came from. You might want to give it a try, she replied within 6 weeks when I wrote to her.

I sent a self addressed, stamped envelope - luckily my future grandmother-in-law lives near the Canadian border and got me some stamps - therefore I can not agree to the part of your statement with the MGM envelope as I never experienced the same. But the "over the moon" thing certainly goes for me as well.

Actually, I am a girl. But as you are so tired, I am willing to forgive you. Just don't do that again if we ran into each other at SG-4...

I keep my fingers crossed for you that it will work for you. I can't see why it shouldn't, TR is one of the nicest persons I have ever written to.

Im quite lucky really as I got a few from SG3.....roll on SG4!

Did you just write to the cast in general or to someone specific?
I just wonder because I received a postcard with autographs printed on the back out of nowhere a while ago. But anyway, nice picture. I hope yours is real!

I wrote to the cast or really I wrote to say that I wanted a season six and to give my surport for the show...I think thats why I got the postcard...and no I don't think the autographs are real!!

No not really looking for anyone elses address as I will have most of them covered after SG4.....unless you know anything about the guy who played Lt. Graham Simmons real name Tobias Mehler???
