How many episodes in Season 5?

Does anyone know how many episodes season 5 will air? And does anyone know what the rest of the season's schedule looks like?
Looking back to past seasons I noticed they each had 21-22 episodes spread out between June to March (with a few months having no episodes aired at all). Just wondering.

I work in the Art Dept. at SG-1. Seaon five will be comprised of twenty-two episodes, with one being very special, the 100th episode wich coincidentally airs in about thirty minutes from now on Shotime (western North America). See you all at Gatecon in Vancouver.

Sorry but I can't be of much help, seems it depends where you are, and if you have cable or satellite, I'm lucky in that I have both.
In North America Showtime and Fox are our prime carriers, but for some reason that I still don't quite understand, one of our local (British Columbia) stations BCTV/Global TV is right up to date in episode broadcasts, go figure. Wish I could be of more help, suggest you contact your local cable provider for more info. Jaffa Kree!

Thanks Boydo! I'm just thrilled that there are more new episodes coming up. I'll find them...I have a Tivo digital recorder...all I have to do is keep my "theme channel" in place for Stargate SG-1 and I'll never miss an episode. It tapes automatically. I can't wait!

Actually BCTV isn't airing any Stargate anymore & never did air any of season 5, it is Check 6 which is, I don't know, all part of the Global system ?, & Check 6 (which recently changed it's name to something else that escapes my memory at the mo) is only up to the 4th or 5th ep from season 5. I have, however, watched up to Wormhole Xtreme thanx to downloading the eps from the archives page before Adam deleted them...

sigh, TV land decided to mess up my Stargate schedules, I had to go searching again & only get it 3 times a week...sniff sniff

Right You Are Skoon, sorry but I have trouble keeping track of the new channels too. I see most of the episodes in bits and peices in the screening room (without soundtrack) or at home on sattelite.
Sick and tired of cable?, try DSS you will never go back.
