Glasses?

So, does the character of Daniel need glasses or not? Sometimes he wears them, sometimes he doesn't. His rough & tumble life would tend against a dependence on any sort of eye-wear.
(In the film, the character was very near-sighted).

That is the question... *MS joke, hee hee*

He doesn't need them. Not for looks, but he is cute in his glasses. I like Daniel either way and I think when he doesn't have them in he wears contacts.

Works for me!

I like MS in glasses, gives him the intellectual look. Plus darn cute. But those of us who depend on glasses are all to aware that he seems to discard them with abandon. I just cringed in Forever in a Day when he just tosses them on the ground.

Considering what glasses cost -- hard to think that Daniel just discards them as needed. I think the writers may be slipping a bit on this, but perhaps I'm just nitpicking.

I think Daniel's got enough money to buy a new pair of glasses for each episode. But, contacts would be easier, especially in his current job (you know....for being kidnapped, shot at, etc).
