Hey Everyone,
Just reporting some news. Some BAD news.
The Stargate SG-1 Episode Archive where you can download episodes of the show has been shut down. Adam, the site's webmaster reported the following today:

"I'm very sorry to report that the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has targeted this site and forced me to remove all of the links to the episodes. Much to everyone's sorrow, I doubt the episodes will return anytime soon.

All episode links have been removed by order of the MPAA (see above). Showtime is now playing reruns of season 5, and will not have new episodes until January. However, it is doubtful that I will be able to provide any episodes here even at that time. It is a little odd that an official MGM newsletter profiles this site, and then the MPAA tries to close it down. I will be investigating these suspicious developments. "

This is especially sad for those who rely on the Archive to get Stargate every week.

Okay... I'm crying here.... Well, almost anyway...:crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Damn them- indignation! no downloads that sucks!:crying::crying:

There is a solution for the people who needed that site for the episodes. Theres another place to find them. It's called kazaa. For those of you who don't know just go to kazaa.com i think you'll see where im going with this.

Good news people!!!

I've heard that the archive will be up again, the mail Adam got was a hoxe!!! *jumps up and down*:rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2:

Really? Where did you hear that?
I hope you're right. It would be such a shame to lose such a great resource for the SG-1 community.

Back-ups

It doesn't hurt to have back-ups....try www.mrorlandofl.com. Also, a few download sites can be found by doing a search on google.com (I don't know the direct links....just take a look).

I just got an email from Adam, he confirms that he thinks it is a hoax. He's procured the email adress of the loser who sent him the email. He says that he is working things out with his ISP.
More news soon.

Hooray! That news has made my morning!:D

Great! I won't have to hurt my source... *evil, evil grin*

A similar thing happened to my website earlier this year. Somebody was contesting the domain name ownership which resulted in the site being down for a couple of days.

I got it sorted in the end but it was a right pain.

Some people think it's a laugh - I guess that's the way the world is thesedays.
