1st ep review(spoilers)

I'm writing this as I watch, so bare with me.

- making whats her name into Dogget's new partner...good

- having Mulder mysteriously vanish again...bad. DO SOMETHING FRESH!!!

- only takes place 48 hours after the season finale...good

- Lucy Lawless guest stars...bad. She's just eye candy for a ratings grabber. She'll be gone in a week anyway(unless I missed something), so they could use just any actress for her part.

- Mulder's penciles in the ceiling...classic :)

- ...telekenetic baby? Interesting...

- LONE GUNMEN!!! Their apearance actually makes refrence to the last ep of their series...the 2nd half of which was never aired...

- Skinner getting cut on that pipe...has to be a set up for something...

I like Monica Reyes as Doggett's new partner. Definetly a good move.

Mulder disappearing is kind of old. Got the feeling that Scully knew he was leaving.

Lone Gunmen very nice touch, especially the reference to the last lone gunmen episode.

It will be interesting to see what happens in next weeks episode.

Was that Mulder in Skully's shower at the very begingin? And was that his luggage in her house?

I think it was Mulder in Scully's shower. Although they didn't show anything so you could definetly know. That and the luggage, which I assumed was probably his, is why I think she knew he was leaving. She probably even knows why. Which would be a change from previous times he disappeared.

I think the interaction between Reyes and Scully was better in this episode and I liked the hurt look on Doggett's face when Scully asked him to leave :D

yeah i just watch this epsiode..... i liked it.

I think Reyes is becoming a much better developed character, i'm beginning to like her.

Doggett - Ha, i can't believe AD Follmer compared him to Mulder! He's not even close!! but again getting better, loved the eagerness to believe in conspiracy theories but still not close to our darling beloved Mulder.

Mulder's pencils - what can i say???
CLASSIC!!!!! :D :D :D

Grrrr..... Not if the series hasn't been shown yet!!! And Sky have no plans to show it.

It was a good episode, and normally I would have liked it, but because I know now that this is the final series, and that everyone in the USA has already seen the final episode; and that it reveals the truth, solves a few mysteries, and closes a lot of plot; then I found myself getting frustrated at all the duplicity -- Where has Mulder gone? Why is it a secret? Who the heck is Follmer?

I was saying *just get on with it and tell us!*

Very good start to the last season. Lucy Lawless was pretty good. I'm sure there were a few men who enjoyed seeing her 'butt naked'. LOL

Brad Follmer is such a worm. Ewwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder he gets on so well with Kirsch.

annette :D
