Episode 9.02 "Nothing Important Happened TodayII"

"Scully unofficially assists Doggett and Reyes in uncovering the secrets relating to water contamination that are hidden in a clandestine laboratory aboard a naval ship"

Interesting episode. Follmer's comment about Doggett sounding like Mulder seemed to fit. He did sound a lot like Mulder.

Agent Reyes was great. The tension between her and Follmer will be interesting to watch.

Scully isn't sure what she wants. She is afraid to know the truth but also afraid not to know.

Just exactly where does Kersh fit into this. Is he really being forced, and was he really trying to help Doggett by slipping him that obituary?

The only thing I didn't like in this ep was the fact that in the time Doggit spent holding Skully by the shoulders telling her they had no time & had to get out, she could have found the info she needed and then run.

spider i somewhat disagree. They didn't have time to look for anything. But they were in a position to grap something to look at later. A memo note in a pocket would do great. So would their arms full with samples.

On other notes. I am happy to have the Lone Gunmen still around and behaving like they did in their great short lived show. I found the super soldier battle at the end good put a little to bloody. However this show has done worse.

I am going to stick around. i will ignore the bad stupid press and of course the Mulder flamers.

I enjoy the episode it was good. The Kersh and Dogget thing was interesting. Also as Mellian says I enjoy seeing the Reyes & Follmer issue. Is going to be cool to see how this progress. And also was good to see the Lone Gunmen as ZachWZ mention. Of course I enjoy Lucy Lawless character in the first two episodes. And the return of Doggett friend as the super soldier. It was fun to watch.:p

well i always liked Jeffrey Spender so.................:D

Kersh - i'm not surprised they did that, they like keeping everyone grey. NO ONE (well maybe with the exception of Mulder) is allowed to be all good or all evil.

Also I think that Doggett did do the right thing in grabbing Scully and his little comment "We'll find another way" well that really did make him sound like Mulder.

Also i think they could have had a better explanation of Mulder leaving but i'm kinda satisfied with the one we have for now, Mulder would ONLY ever leave if Scully convinced him to do it.

The second half -- we got these two episodes shown stuck together -- was a much faster pace.

I didn't understand the super soldier plot, but then I never fully understand the X-Files.

Wouldn't Doggett have realised before, when he was in the Army, that Shannon McMahon and Knowle Rohrer were a little different. How can you survive underwater without breathing and having multiple bullet wounds, and not appear strange?

Does Lucy Lawless appear in more episodes then? She isn't dead yet is she?

As we saw this a 'one' episode tis hard to know when the 2nd part started. Saying that tho, kinda spooky with little 'William' and the mobile on his bed.

I must admit that Doggett and Reyes/Reyas??? make a good couple/team. They looked good together in the lift. How she could like Follmer is beyond me? Great to see 'The Lone Gunmen' making an appearance. Had to laugh when Frohike was trying to see thru the spyhole.

Is Shannon McMahon really dead? Who thinks that Knowle is going to rise from the dead(headless)?

Did anyone in the UK or the US for that matter notice the 'in memory of' screen (to put it one way) at the end of the credits? I just ask because the date given is for the persons death is September 11th. :( Would like to find out about the person who unfortunately lost his life and how he appeared/took part in the x-files?
