okay so the only way to kill one is to chop off the head, but I saw an eppy where Duncan and his mate were blowing each other up with bombs, just for a laugh. And they were surviving intact, just a bit dusty..

So surely a bomb blast would tear them apart at close range, and there wouldnt we enough body and head left to be connected to each other. So that episode was a big pile of continuity pants, right?

Come on, a gunshot makes a hole in em, as does a sword, so a bomb must have its usual effect as well, but nooo, not if we can have a comedy moment for ol Dunc

which ep was that??

don't know why i'm not remembering that, but i'm not --- hmmmm

guess i'll get there eventually ----- (i'm still in season 1 - ep 14)

I think it was the ep with Cory Rains........right? if I'm wrong just tell me

*ahem* it was Money No Object, and yes dru, with Cory Raines. *grins*

And you're prolly right, markpud...but, hey, the whole series basically says , "Continuity? I don't understand that word..."

yes - yesterday was a brain-fart day -- figured it was 5 --- don't know why i added the 'or 6' ---- only Idiscretions was any good from that one ----

okay -----------

so - Immies v. bombs --- hmmmmmmm --- (i'll have to rewatch that ep and see what they're doing -- )

if I remember right first Cory blows up MacLeod than MacLeod blows up Cory it really was very funny if I remember right

vague recollection of that scene

(psst - dru -- look at the Highlander II thread ---)

Immortals can live through most anything, and can heal from most anything, but not if the explosion completly incinerates them, and there's nothing left to heal.

*grins* I liked this episode....and I guess we are meant to assume that they weren't close enough to the bomb to get blown to bits or anything....

and I liked "To Be" and "Not To Be" from season 6 too H2

yes yes, Dia, we know --- :) Krycek, Corey --- yep! ;)

To Be and Not To Be - while interesting in concept, didn't pull me in --- dunno why ------

well sure there's that...but I actually liked the episode because I thought it was funny...nothing like seeing Duncan blown up to make your day.

I thought there were a lot of good Methos moments in those two eps...and that's why I liked them...
