...We were sitting in the school sports hall. We were all pretty happy that we were going home at 1pm that day. We were gonna have an hour assembly, in which, a band made from some pupils called Blizzard. They played an Oasis and a Blur song. Then we listened to the school orchestra play. Then our headteacher, Mr.Lay, made a speech and then they showed us some new technology and other improvements that would be made 2 our school from being awarded a Technology Collage. Our new name, Samuel Ward Upper School and Technology Collage was a bit of a mouthful but it sounded posh. Then there was some dances. This was all pretty mundane. Although out of the ordinary, and making us go home early and making us have only 2 lessons which gave it instant coolness, there was nothing 'Wow' about it. Until near the end where we had a laser show. They played music. Still, although cool, it wasn't anything 'Wow!' until they played a certain Stargate Theme Tune. It balsted out really loud and mixed with the laser show it rocked! It was so cool and i was really pleased with the event.
Sorry for waffling on and now, if u managed 2 read this far, u r probably dissapointed that this was the climax that i was building upto but if u were there i'm sure u would of enjoyed it as much as i did...thanxs 4 listening
