Ltd. Ed. Poster/print

Just to promote. Since the banner on Ascifi this week is a snippit of the poster. Just about the only thing at the auction that I'd love to have won was the print/poster that is featured in the banner. They kept a framed one behind the con registration desk in the lobby. The thing is just awesome and golden and it looked a lot larger all framed out in beige and gold. This print looked like something you'd hang in your living room and be happy when someone mentioned it. It's honest-to-God SG-1 ART for crying out loud! It's meltingly beautiful to me.

And now I gotta plot on how to get one. Who knows how?

They are a limited edition 1000 print run litho from the folks who bring you WolfCon in the UK.

I looked. And cried becasue there was no way I could afford it. I understand the straight litho without signatures is something like 200 Pounds Sterling or such. 'Way above my limit.

I *was* encouraged to see the work that 'Lightspeed' puts out [the new official 'SG-1 fan club' and graphics dealer]. Very fine work in a lot of fandoms. And they do things on depost and monthly payments. I was lusting after the signed B-5 litho of *all* the cast members from S1-S5.

I think the people who are handling the official fan club would be good place to start. They are the one who had that great sci-fi art in the dealer's room.

Steve has done monthly payments before so just mail him and ask, there are only 750 of the unsigned ones and 250 of the signed ones.

I can hope. I also got obsessive this AM and spent about 2 hours web hopping to track down every chevron for the SG-1 Compatition.
