Scully's clothing

In the early seasons of "X-Files", Scully wore kind of drab, conservative, business attire. She seems to be (in recent seasons) wearing somewhat more stylish clothes. Know what? I miss the older look (and the scientific, no-nonsense Scully).

Really? Early season Scully always looked really... what's the right word for it... dumpy to me. Like the costume designer couldn't bother to take the time to dress her in things which flattered her.

I prefer the new Scully. I like her season 9 look. :) I've attached a photo.

That's true. Good point. Never thought of it that way before.

i think the "new" style scully fills the position of the detective that she is, whereas the "old" style scully suits her as the scientist. I prefer her as a cop, :eek4:

I like Scully's new style, too. Her old outfits weren't dumpy but just too monochromatic. They were a bit bland, flat, but quality.

Her clothes have more personality now, like much of the fashion out there in the real world. Remember, this show is nine years old and fashion has changed a lot since 1993.

My favorite look for Mulder was the blue jeans and leather jacket, so I guess that says more about me than the show, eh? ;)
