Watching Broken Bow, I realized that this may be the very first time that we have seen a Klingon run from an enemy as Klaang is running through the corn field from the two Suliban. I don't think any other Klingon would ever in their right mind run from an enemy.
I realize Klaang was carrying vital information in his genetic code and it couldn't fall into the wrong hands, so Klaang's reasons could be "I run to protect the Empire!"; but it was something I don't think we have ever seen before

now that you mention it -- it did seem a bit odd -- i don't recall Klingons running from a fight before --- however - as we learn more about the Suliban, this 'run away' may become more clear -- there might be more about this enemy than we know and we'll just have to wait and see ----

I think the fact that it was the Suliban is significant, as they are being helped by a time-travelling race of the future, they are an unusual enemy. Also the Klingon courier (not an honourable profession for a warrior anyway) had information vital to the Empire.

Klingons are supposedly honourable and would rather die in battle than grow old, but if you examine their deeds and actions, rather than their words and rhetoric, they are always stabbing each other in the back, plotting to overthrow each other and being generally dishonourable.

And TOS Klingons weren't honourable at all, just dark and swarthy, violent and aggressive, without the warrior code they gained later.
