It's interesting how we got to associate certain faces/actors with certain parts/types.
The first time I saw RDA in 'Through the Eyes of a Killer', it really chocked me becasue it was *so* out of *type* for an RDA piece. It was hard for me to relate with the movie at first. I set it aside and came back to it a few days later, determined to watch it like anyother movie and enjoyed it - in that I enjoyed watching Rick pull out all the 'Good guy' breakers he's used for so long and just get down and be a viscious, nasty SOB.

It's goona be unreal to see the uproar the first time Michael does a part like that.

I wanna be a fly on the wall and watch the reactions.

a friend of mine wrote a fic 'through the glass darkly' which deals iwth an au and inherently evil daniel jackson. you would not believe the response she's gotten from readers who like 'dark side danny'.

i'm finding it fun to watch how people seem to enjoy a peek into the dark side of their favorite characters

if anyone's interested i can tell you when it pops up on an archive, right now it's only on the HC and tearoom list.

LOL.......... Well push away Skydiver..... I know what you mean though. You really would think the world was coming to an end with the departure of a certain gentleman who shall remain nameless. And I am constantly amazed by the new rumours that spring up all the time.

I just heard one from another list that Stargate may be moving studios, which I suppose is logical since they ARE moving networks. But the speculation, and I stress its only speculation is....wait for it.... that they will move to LA or Miami!

How much of this is tongue in cheek I have no idea. So I stress again, it's just an unconfirmed rumour...

So you guys shouldn't have too much trouble spreading the Stargate TNG concept at all.

Rumour Control is, as usual, completely out of control!

i for one doubt them moving studios. i mean even though they'll be on sci-fi they're still made and distributed by mgm. but that's just my .02.

did you ever read descent?
it's one of mine, i will warn you it's very dark adn does culmonate in the death of 3 characters..(hey, someone killed htem first)

the premis is based on more letters and letters by zephyr where a jealous sam finds out about jack and daniel who are together, she makes danny's like he** and then he kills himself, jack kills sam hten himself. like i said very, very dark.

but anyway, the reason in bring it up is descent is sam's side of the whole sordid affair, and in several places she refers to 'the wonder that is daniel'...three guesses where i got that one from<G>
it was surprisingly easy to make sam nuts adn hate danny....dunno if htat means somehting....

if anyone is interested all three are on area 52 but like i said, they're dark adn depressing so please be warned

Ohhhhhhhh! Just finished Descent and loved it! The perspective was great and so very sad... but I loved "the wonder that is Daniel", "Pavement Pizza" and "Two Jacks... no waiting" but I loved how you revealed her slowing going more and more into her descent! I gues that is slash as I like it.... not on the page...and left to the imagination.... you can't believe the time it took for this old gal to courage up to read... I felt like the wife that asked her husband when she found out he went to raid a certain house of ill repute.... "But what does it look like... inside?"

You got it! Not only that but it isn't the same old shippy stuff... gag.... that endlessly drones on and on and on.... by the time season 3 started I was sick of ship (S/J, S/D, Janet/D, )...the first two seasons there wasn't all that much.... and I didn't read all that much either but I got heartily sick of it and have since skipped most of it! Your fic also has something most of theirs doesn't have and what Denise's has...HUMOR!
