Hmm, I didn't really like this one. I think it's S4's weakest ep.

I found the episode quite watchable. Maybe not so much the storyline, but the interaction between the characters. I especially like the part where the boy was telling Teal'c about birthdays, and then gave him a birthday present.

And was this the first time Teal'c actually tells his age ?

I suppose I am a bit biased with this episode, i've been waiting just over a year to see it.

Last year while we were at Gatecon, I get to go onto that set, and I have a great pic of me siting in the middle of the floor (light machine wasn't there yet) and meditating. I'll try and dig it up.

This was probably S4's weakest episode ... not that i didnt enjoy it ... but there is way better
bloody Southern Cross didnt show the promo for "Prodigy" because the had the episode sent down earlier (minus the promos for all shows when seven do this) so now i have to wait for southern cross to put the prodigy promo into rotation (probably late sunday, early monday) before i can capture it
but i realised because we get stargate @ 9:00pm when it starts for us ... you guys are still watching the weakest link

That's a good point. The interaction between the charcters was good. Although I don't thnk it was a really strong performance from any of the actors. Not to say that it wasn't good, but like JAD said, there are better eps in this seaso. For me, I don't think the concept of being addicted to a light was all that believeable.
The sets were really excellent and so were the visual effects.

The promo for 'Prodigy' wasn't as good as past promos have been and they didn't say anything about the Cadet Halley aspect of the show, they concentrated on the 'light bugs' thing a little more. Josh, if you don't manage to get the promo I'll send it to you. The first part was quite amusing, it said "When you go out in the woods today".

I found the piccy of me on the set of "The Light".

As you can see, the light device has been removed, and I thought it was a good place for some light meditation.

what i did was i set the VCR recording during the day on Tuesday. and when i got home i skipped through the tape until i saw the promo...and then i encoded it and put it on the net
