Hiya, I'm not quite a newbie, but since I usually just lurk periodically, I haven't posted on the Roswell board yet...

I know they got a lot of flack for using too much Sci-fi last season & so are trying to tone it down, but I don't think any of them did anything that a normal kid couldn't have done in last night's (9/16) episode... if one didn't know the premise & they didn't occasionally mention the fact that they are extra-terrestrial, one might mistake it for Dawson's creek or such. I rather liked the direction of last season & think scaling it back to such an extent is a mistake... I mean, what do TV critics know, anyway?

I agree

I totally agree with you. I don't feel the same about the show anymore. The excitement of looking forward to the show that I felt during season 1, began fading in season 2 and now I'm just watching out of loyalty (and hope that it will improve). I really liked when the show was just about the core characters and their relationships and their lives, etc. Now, I don't feel their connection....even with Max and Liz. Liz's father (who magically appeared this season) is really annoying. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something will re-spark my interest. Anyone else feel the same?
