Lets make a list of people going to SG3

following in the footsteps of those lucky enough to attend SG4, i thought it was about time someone started a list of all the extra lucky people going to SG3 in only 11DAYS :rolly2:

Then perhaps we can all look out for each other next weekend!

So, I'll start.

Actually Chellie, I think that's an excellent idea. One of the things Gatecon sadly lacked was any kind of fan liaison... so maybe we need to do this ourselves.

I'm Anni, travelling in by road with Pamie.... I come from Fleet in Hampshire and am staying in the hotel all weekend. I also do not have tickets for the cocktail party... But intend to hold my own little party, with Pamie and Abydos and lady called Lib who is hopefully still coming!

well, i think this might just be the job for me! I was waiting until Wolf released all the info about the weekend. eg when the guests will do their talks and hopefully more details of the hotel, then i thought we could arrange somewhere to meet for our very own Cocktail Party.
Anyone have a guess when the details may be released?

well, only 4 people have replied to my plea of " all those going to SG3 stick your name here ". I'm amazed. Perhaps we have scared them off, they just don't want to speak to us

Chellie..... I agree that we all need to meet, more so than you may realise. I went to Gatecon and nobody talked to anyone.....the only people who seemed to meet up were those who had attended the previous year and their friends. The rest of us wandered around like lost souls..... nobody on the Gatecon staff could be bothered to help. So I think that if at least four or five of us do it ourselves then we can lassoo other poor souls in too!

Yeah I think its a great idea to arange a place to meet....Im willing to talk and hang around with anyone going...I can chat about anything and nothing for hours.
Im so looking forward to the whole thing...but only coz I know that some of the people going are willing to be friendly to each other.

hmmm... I know what I'm wearing on the Friday night, so that would be easy to spot me if i told you what i was wearing.

For the Voyager convention Wolf realised a map of the hotel, plus the schedules for during that day. if they do that this year we could meet in a relly obscure place, like next to the plant at the main entrance or something like that. I think it was about the weekend before the con they released that, so hopefully that should be this weekend :rolly2:

only 5 days until SG3! I can't believe how close it is! At present, there are 11 of us from both this message board and the Wolf Events one that want to meet up, so that's quite a good gaggle of people.

Still no schedules from Wolf... perhaps we will have to go to Plan B on how and where to meet..? Any ideas...

Yeah I have been keeping an eye out for something from Wolf...but still nothing...maybe they will do it nearer the time.
I really can't believe that its come round so quick....

i have an idea...

just been flicking over the wolf pages again, and i saw a picture of the reception area of the hotel (on the "more info" section for SG3). there i spotted some very comfy looking sofa's with checky cushions... hmmm.. that could be a place to meet if wolf don't give any maps away..
what do you think..?

Well that answers my question...I was gunna ask what time you were finishing for sure...so i knew what time to leave here.

Yeah so depending on the traffic.....we should be at the hotel sometime after that....
